What long term effects can I expect from scoliosis and degenerative arthritis in my spine?
I'm 20, and have been diagnosed with scoliosis and also degenerative arthritis (either rheumatoid or osteo - still have to do blood work to find out). Being as young as I am, what can I expect the future to hold for me concerning these problems?
Also, my spine apparently curves the opposite way in which it would normally go in most people (I think to the left maybe? I'm not sure, just the other way than normal).
What is wrong with me?

One doctor said scleroderma, another said scoliosis, another said herniated disk, and yet another said lupus. I feel so crappy all the time. My joints, my back, my hips, my head, all hurt randomly. Acid reflux. I'm tired and dizzy. My doctor said my A.N.A. levels were elevated but that could mean nothing. Yet another said my liver enzymes were elevated. I'm tired of the blood tests and the different doctors. I just want to know what's wrong with me.

I'm completely incontinent and have been to a gynecologist and a urologist. Neither could find a problem that could cause this. I have Scoliosis and degenerative disc disease and go to a pain management center for chronic pain treatment. Could these conditions be related?
What is the best way to relieve severe back pain that is related to Scoliosis with over the counter medicine?
Right now i am looking for any medicine or over the counter cocktail that I can take to relieve severe back-pain that is related to my Scoliosis? I like so many others do not have health insurance and do not want to go the illegal route. The weather here in KC makes it the pain unbearable and today I am just looking for anything. The ibuprofen that I am taking is barely doing anything? Any suggestions out there?
