Does anyone know of any good home remedies that really work for arthritis?
My mom was recently diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, and she gets these really bad joint pains to where she is unable to get out of bed at times or even unable to move her fingers. The doctor prescribed her some medications, but none seem to help. Are there any real good home remedies that actually work? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Will I get Rheumatoid Arthritis if my mom has it?
I've been having some aches on my knees around the same time my mother has them. My mom has had Rheumatoid Arthritis since her early 20s. I'm in my early 20's now and would I get Rheumatoid Arthritis if she does?

I am a girl age 13 and wonder if I have got incontinence. Two days ago in the subway home I had to pee. After a while I couldn't hold it anymore and I peed in my pants. It has NEVER NEVER happened before (except when I was little of course). I had to really, really badly on the subway but other times when I had to go I always managed to hold it until I got home, When you are 13 you should be able to hold it until you get home or find another bathroom even if you really have to go bad right? None of my friends have ever wet their pants and I have only seen little kids do it and maybe they will tease me if they found out I did. I know incontinence is when you can't hold it, so I was wondering if that is what I got. How can I cure it? I have never had any problems before and I have no problems to hold it now, but I am scarred it could happen again. I don't want to go to a doctor and I don't want to tell my mom (I don't want her to know I wet my pants)

She's limping a bit in her back leg and I checked it out and there was nothing in her fur, nothing felt out of place and I checked her paw and everything felt fine. I took her for a walk today and when I got home after I wiped her paws down she started limping. My mom said her leg was stiff. What does that mean? She is overweight (don't worry shes on a diet and gets walked regualarely) So yeah..do you thik its arthritis?

My mom is 47 years old and thinks she has arthritris. She recently went to the doctor and had blood-work done. The test was called "ANA Scrn+AutoImm Pnl" When she was done, they gave her a paper that was typed up in doctor-language. The number for something called "SSA Ab" that she got was "H 100", Next to that, it says, "SSA antibodies may be detected in cases of Sjorgren's syndrome. They may also be detected in cases of congenital heart block, neonatal lupus, and some patients with systemic lupus erythematosus".
The test after that was called "RNP Ab". The number she got was "H 113" and next to that, it says, "RNP antibodies are seen in mixed connective tissue disease. They can also be present in other autoimmune diseases such as SLE, Sjorgren's syndrome, scleroderma, an polymyositis".
Neither of us know what ANY of this means... Her doctor told her that numbers received higher than 100 are considered high.
She had the testing done three days ago and the doctor told her that he's referring her to a rheumatologist, which we don't really know what that is either. She would have asked the doctor I'm sure, but the office has been closed for the past few days.
She says that sometimes it hurts to get started walking and she has burning, weak muscles.
Does anyone know what this could be or what the paper from the doctor means?
What exactly is systemic lupus erythematosus? Sjorgen's syndrome? Scleroderma? Polymyositis?
I looked this stuff up, but it was all written in a way that I couldn't understand... just like the stupid paper the doctor gave to my mother. Please help?!
How did YOU reduce the appearance of stretch marks?

I am just curious what you did to reduce or diminish the look of your stretch marks? I know that lotion does not work, and that if your mom has them you will get them etc etc.
I am looking for things you did after you already had stretch marks and what helped make them less noticeable?
I read someones response yesterday saying they did something that they would recommend for a burn victim to reduce scar appearance and I was just wondering what that would have included? ?

My grandma had the disease Scleroderma. She had 7 kids including my mom. All of them are about 50 years old and have not been diagnosed with Scleroderma of any kind. Me (15 years old) and my sister (13 years old) are wondering if we are going to get Scleroderma. Does it run in families? I'm scared :/
