What kind of over-the-counter medicine can I give my dog for arthritis?

I have a 5 year old 90 lb dog that has arthritis in his back legs. I was wondering what over-the-counter human medicine and dosage I can give him for the pain. I am not able to take him to the vet at this time. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Im 16, female. I was recently diagnosed with arthritis in my hands/fingers. Until my medication arrives, is there any helpful tips I can use to ease the pain? The Doctor perscribed me Robaxin for my back pain it dont work?

It doesnt help the pain, plus it upsets my stomache and gives me a headache. I wonder what medicine should I try or ask for? The pain is near the middle of my shoulders, and I read Robaxin is for lower back pain.
