Could this be fibromyalgia or what?

I have been feeling pretty ill since April 2011 and some of my symptoms have been:

Bad Nausea-From April to mid July
Can't tolerate medications-Currently
Heat Intolerance-Currently
Gassy/Bloated-Currently
Appetite loss-From April to mid July and sometimes currently
Anxiety-Severe From February to mid July
Insomnia-2-3 times a week
Yellow stool for almost 2 months-April to mid July
Severe jaw and neck pain-Left side from April to beginning of July

Most currently I have had a tension headache for almost 2 weeks that lasts all day. When I try to sleep my right hip hurts, and it feels like my whole body is going numb, and I have to keep tossing and turning but no matter what position I lay I'm uncomfortable.
I have an elevated ANA that is 1:320 which also says Nucleolar Pattern that occurs in systemic sclerosis or in polymyositis/scleroderma overlap. I don't have any symptoms of these autoimmune diseases, but I do have some for fibromyalgia. They also say that the paperwork doesn't necessarily mean that is what you have. So any in put would be great.............
I was also diagnosed with a fatty liver via ultrasound.

Cat Scan-Normal
Metabolic Panel-Normal
Liver and Kidney Functions-Normal
Hormone levels-Normal
Adrenals-Normal
Monospot-Normal
Pregnancy test-Negative

I have also had upper back pain for five years. I see a chiropractor which has helped alot, but I have never experienced a headache like this especially not for this long.
Thanks
Thanks

I tested positive for scleroderma 4 times!?

I went to the doctor over a year ago complaining of aches & pains throughout my body, & joint pain, some other symptoms I had were- dizziness, muscle weakness, headaches, fatigue, swelling in feet, ankles, hands,& fingers, numbness & tingling in hands & feet, dry eyes, hands turn colors with cold or stress, hair loss, really bad heartburn, bouts of diarrhea then constipation & maybe some others but thats all I can think of right now. So anyways she did an ANA test on me & the only thing that came up positive was anti SCL-70 which she said it means I could have scleroderma. She wanted to make sure it wasn't just a false positive, so she took it again a couple weeks later, still positive. So she sent me to a rheumatologist. He did no other testing just poked me with his fingers a bit in certain areas then said I have fibromyalgia. I was confused why I tested positive for scleroderma then he says its just fibromyalgia. My doctor didn't agree either, so she sent me to a different rheumatologist, he talked to me for a little bit & also poked me in places to see if it hurt, but then he said he thinks it is just fibromyalgia. He explained that if you have another autoimmune dieases you can test positive for a different one, therefore it can be a false positive. He said since I have thyroid disease thats why it might have came up positive for scl-70. They also said they didn't see any physical symptoms. Hmmm so I'm really confused now.So I asked my doctor to take one more test to make sure it was still positive & of course it was. But I trusted them. So I went on with my life. Months later I just kept feeling more sick, so I went back to my doctor she did another test for ANA & it came up positive again for SCL-70. But there are no other rheumatologists in my town that take my health ins. so I' kinda at a dead end. I'm confused, My anti scl-70 was 203..I don't know if that's a high or low positve. Anyone with answers please help! Thanks :)

Foods for auto-immune diseases

My mom has scleroderma (auto-immune disease) and she was told to drink buttermilk to fight yeast off from her body. Is this a good idea and what other foods/juices might be beneficial?
I think it is inflammatory considering it is catagorized with lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. Also, mom does have fibromyalgia.

Anyone know if the Jo-1 antibody is common in fibromyalgia?

November 3, 2010 by admin

I had a positive ANA(1:320), speckled pattern. RA, lupus, Sjogrens, MCTD, and scleroderma were all negative. I did come up positive for the Jo-1 antibody though, which is usually found in polymyositis. My rheumatologist said that my muscle strength was not typical of a person that has this disorder, so I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. With all the info I acquired on this antibody, I did not find anything that linked it with fibro. I am a little concerned of its presence since it is usually found in virtually all cases of people that have interstitial lung disease. Any feedback out there?? Appreciate it.

Do certain illegal drugs cause early Rheumatoid Arthritis, or any type of bone deterioration more than others?

July 23, 2010 by admin

I know all illegal drugs are bad, but are certain ones known to cause Rheumatoid Arthritis, or any type of bone deterioration, over others? I have used a few in the past, and now at 22, I am suffering from an advanced case of bone damage in my hands. I have also been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Please help with real facts, Rather than just "Drugs are bad". I will be picking the best answer. Thanks!
