But I have realized that I can't hold my pee in when I sneeze, and it's not a few drops...it's running down my leg by the third sneeze.

I called my obgyn and the receptionist said there is nothing they can do, and to go to my family doctor...Now, I have a really sucky family doctor that I know won't help, and will probably tell me to go to my OBGYN.
I want to know if it's normal to have TEMPORARY urinary incontinence, even after 2 months of childbirth, and if it's possible that I may have torn my urethra during the strain of pushing? Any help would be appreciated. In the meantime I have been doing kegels, but I am very worried that I may have to wear freaking depends the rest of my life!!!! please help as my doctors won't!!

BY THE WAY, I am 24 yrs old and this is my first baby. thanks.

It really can be annoying. And, more than that, when others sneeze and cough they pass along their germs. The worst is when they say to you that they just have allergies and they do nothing about it. So their sneezing persists for 2 months at your expense. Sometimes you wonder if they really have allergies or if they just have not treated that cold that everyone else went to the doctor for a month ago.

Allergies, like a cold are something that you should see the doctor for. However they differ from a cold. Here are some basic facts that will help you to better understand if you or someone you know is suffering from allergies.

•	The symptoms occur at the same time every year or last throughout the year.
•	The symptoms last as long as you are exposed to a particular substance.
•	Your respiratory illness lasts longer than one or two weeks

It is extremely important that you treat your allergies if you do have them. They will not go away left untreated. Consult with a doctor regarding your symptoms and he or she will help you best determine whether you are suffering from a cold or allergies.

I have had a total-body rash for six weeks now and the doctor is convinced I have developed an allergy to diuretics. I have been off of them for three weeks and have gained about 18 lbs in fluid weight. The doctor had me try a different diuretic this morning, but within an hour my skin was crawling and burning so I know I cannot take those pills again. Has anyone had a similar experience that they can share what has worked for them, aside from restricting sodium intake.

If you are suffering from allergies and are seeking natural remedies, then be comforted with the fact that there are actually a variety of options available. Among these relief is food. There are several food products that alleviate common allergic reactions.

Prior to resorting to trying a particular diet to ease allergies, a better understanding of a balanced diet is in order. Maintaining a healthy diet strengthens your body and immune system. It improves chances of preventing flu and lessens the likelihood of allergies or at the least, makes them manageable.

In taking in a particular food, a good choice would be lime. Half a lime or a whole lime squeezed into a cup of water is suggested to those people who have allergies. This type of drink should be taken as is or with a teaspoon of honey regularly for a span of two months in order to get effective relief. Honey is also considered to be another type of natural remedy for an allergy.

Another type of food option that you can use in treating allergies is vegetable juices. It has been found in some studies, that vegetable juices are effective in allergy treatment.
You may take simple vegetable juices such as carrot juice or make your own vegetable juice combination. Mixing cucumber, carrot and beet juice is a firsthand recommendation.

One food that may be eaten for relief from allergies is banana. This all-natural remedy recommends at least one banana daily for one to two months, although 2 bananas will be more beneficial. While banana is a general relief for allergies, it is specifically designed for skin allergies that progress from smaller allergies.

It is advised to consume lots of fruits and vegetables. As mentioned, lime and banana have therapeutic claims against most allergies. Apples, carrots and grapes may also be tried. It is recommended to start this all-natural diet slowly. One can eat a fruit or vegetable then add another in the following days or weeks. This approach is advised when a person fasts.

While these fruits and vegetables do offer relief from allergies, one must proceed with this diet with caution. This natural method is dependent on specific allergies that one has. For instance, while banana may lessen chances of skin allergies, those who are allergic to banana or similar food may not be able to eat this natural remedy without an allergic reaction from it. It is advised that people with food allergies conduct their own research first. A scheduled consultation with a doctor or checking articles in the internet, such as from a credible medical websites namely WebMD, is a good start.

Options for Allergy Relief

Are you affected by allergies or feel that you are?-á First thing to do is determine what you think may cause it.-á Are you getting itches, rashes, or do you have broken skin on your skin? Do you have runny nose, do you have incessant sneezing, or post nasal drip?-á Various manifestations may occur differently from person to person, but the most common airborne allergens may be due to mold spores, pollen, dust, and dust mite feces.-á You may also develop allergic reactions from weeds, smoke, certain medications, food and pets.

Next thing to do is to visit a knowledgeable physician; through a series of tests your doctor can determine what you may have allergic reactions to.-á This is done by administering a skin test wherein various samples of well known allergens are scratched on the surface of your skin.-á If they bloat or become itchy within a few minutes then you have an allergic reaction toward that particle thing.-á The extent and size of its inflammation determines how greatly you are affected.

A clean environment is what must be maintained at areas where you habit, your home, car, and work place in most cases.-á If you are allergic to certain components in your food, you must eliminate all forms of food which contain that ingredient.-á Eggs for example, you may not eat the whole egg in any form, fried, boiled, scrambled or poached for that matter.-á You are not supposed to eat pastries that contain eggs in their mixture like custard based goodies, certain cakes, rolls and bread.

For simple cases, there are over the counter medications you can buy which are not expensive and they work quite fast and effectively.-á Be aware that the regular ones have a sedative effect, so if you intend to drive of handle critical machinery do not take this medicine in regular form.-á They also market a no-drowse version of the drug and are also safe to use, just a little more expensive.-á Over the counter drugs will not work for food allergies which manifest themselves internally.-á The most common reaction is to seafood.-á In some instances, depending on the degree will cause your skin to puff up; sometimes they may clog air passages and become critical.-á Another form may cause your intestinal tract to swell up and give you excruciating pain which you may distinguish as a very painful tummy ache made up of gases and spasms.-á You will need prescribed anti-histamine for this, and the sedative effects for this are more potent so it is highly recommended that you take this kind of medication before bedtime.

Food Allergies:-á How Can They Be Managed or Treated?

If you feel that you have food allergies, you might want to determine the types of food that you are allergic to as your initial step. Schedule for an appointment with your doctor, if you can, usually, doctors or physicians will recommend that you undergo an allergy test to be able to pin point more accurately the kinds of food that cause you allergies.

In the process of managing or treating your allergies, it is advisable to remove the foods that cause you allergies from your diet. Since food allergies are a more serious type of allergy, eliminating those foods is very important. To illustrate, a person who is allergic to peanuts for instance was able to ingest the same, if medical attention is not immediately administered to him the consequence could be fatal. Food allergy is not like dust or pet allergies where you can just opt to limit or reduce your exposure to those factors.-á Food allergies are riskier and more dangerous so you would not want to take chances with it. This is the reason why it is better to entirely avoid eating the foods that you are allergic to.

Several food allergies have manifested in people since they were children. But there are also a number of adults who contract allergies later on in their lives. If you are one of these people, this can be hard, but it is more important to establish a change in your life more particularly in your diet for your own good. You may start first by gradually weaning yourself from the foods that affect you until such time that you have already gotten rid of them completely. Always have your allergy medicine near you as you will never know when you might need it.

But donGÇÖt lose hope, while it is true that you might be cutting food that you love from your diet you are not completely deprived of it. Many food substitutes may be resorted to in place of the actual food you are allergic to. Although they might not taste like the real thing, it will grow on you in a matter of time. You can research about these food substitutes online or consult dieticians or Nutritionists about it.-á Finally, it is always wise to read the labels of the food that you pick out to eat. Know what it is in the food that you eat and it might just save you from a very uncomfortable predicament.

Looking for ways on how to relieve your self of allergies? Several people resort to over-the-counter allergy medicines or products for this, yet there are some who are more open and interested in discovering other more affordable or natural means or methods that can also provide reprieve from the burden of allergies. This article shall talk about a number of home treatments for the many kinds of allergies.

Let us first recognize that in attempting to relieve ourselves from allergy reactions, we must not ignore the necessity for proper medical attention. Many people who have food allergies are actually not able to rely on a lot of home-made, natural allergy treatments since most of them necessarily use food. In addition, for people with more serious allergic symptoms like shortness of breath or losing consciousness, it is vital that you obtain medical attention right away, and refrain from experimenting with remedies.

Let us now start discussing the natural or organic methods of medicating allergic symptoms. Taking vitamin B5 supplements has been known to offer relief from allergy symptoms, and is recommended to be taken everyday for one month or two. Others advise taking it daily for an indefinite time, such as until the symptoms of allergy have reduced or is no longer felt.

Another simple and convenient cure for allergies is lime. Lime is commonly used as allergy treatment by squeezing one or half a lime into a glass of tepid water mixed with one teaspoon of honey and should be drank everyday for a number of months preferably in the morning. This type of remedy also has a detoxifying effect to the body.

Eating one or two bananas a day for a month helps treat allergy symptoms too. This type of allergy remedy is universal since it is effective to all types of allergies but is most effective in treating skin reactions developed from an allergy. However, for those who have food allergies, be advised to proceed with this type of treatment cautiously. It is imperative, that people who have food allergies be extra careful in minding the kinds of food being prescribed as remedies, since it may contain the very type of food that they are allergic to.

In noting the foods that can help give relief from allergies it is just as important to take down the kind of drinks that ought to be evaded. Drinks containing caffeine like colas, coffee, and alcohol contain additives that intoxicates the body and makes it impure and thus are making it hard for the treatments to take effect. Hence the drinks mentioned above should be avoided if you aim to find relief from allergies.

Are you looking for confirmation of whether you are suffering from allergies or not? The simplest way to find out is by setting an appointment with your physician or doctor. There are people though, who think that they do not need to go to the doctor and can come up with a diagnosis by themselves. This may work in some cases, provided that the symptoms are not that severe.

In ascertaining if you have allergies, there are common symptoms that you may want to take note of. The aforementioned indications of allergies may be learned through researching the same online in the several reliable medical websites on the internet. Printed books in medicine that can be bought in bookstores or borrowed from libraries are another option. As a matter of fact, there are numerous alternatives available out there if you are really interested in knowing what the common symptoms of allergies are. This article will also aim to provide you with some of the most ordinary allergic indications. Once you have established that you have most or perhaps all of the ordinary symptoms, it is strongly advised that you schedule an appointment with your doctor immediately.

WebMD one of the most dependable medical websites, says that many people who suffer from allergy undergo only mild to moderate symptoms when having an allergy attack. Mild allergy symptoms ordinarily include having rashes, watery and or itchy eyes, and tightening of the chest. Moderate allergy symptoms on the other hand usually consists mainly also of tightening of the chest, watery and or itchy eyes, having rashes, and a prick or itchy feeling all over the body. Even though these mild or moderate symptoms can be given remedy in the home, a visit to the hospital or doctor is strongly advised whenever it occurs so as to prevent the said symptoms from getting worse.

Consequently, the most dangerous type of allergy symptoms is that of the severe allergic indications. This level of allergic reaction is not as frequently experienced as mild or moderate symptoms. It often involves difficulty in breathing, swelling, diarrhea, vomiting, dizziness, painful cramps, and losing consciousness. When having a severe allergic reaction, medical attention should be sought as soon as possible, otherwise the result could be fatal.

We have mentioned earlier, that checking for allergy symptoms yourself is very feasible. However it cannot be stressed any further how important it is to make an appointment with your doctor to seek professional advice for your condition. Doctors will provide or recommend you with the appropriate medication for your allergy. They can even propose natural remedies for you if they find it more suitable for your case.
