I know it feels like everyone can tell what you are wearing, but believe me, no one really has any idea. It is just not expected that an adult would be wearing a diaper under his/her clothes so no one is really looking for that sort of thing. They hide quite well under dark, loose fitting clothing. I don't mean to disregard your concern, but I really think that you should just try to get out more and you may realize that no one is any the wiser what type of underwear you are wearing unless you specifically show them. Just be confident!

I highly recommend you try the Kegelmaster.

What is KegelMaster?

It is a revolutionary progressive resistance kegel exerciser created to help women with common conditions such as:

- lack of vaginal tightness

- unsatisfactory orgasm

- uterine prolapse

- stress and urge incontinence

- overactive bladder

- pelvic pain including severe menstrual cramps

- cystocele and rectocele

I honestly haven't read a bad review on this product, in fact, I've read reviews where women have had the same problem as you have, but after using the Kegelmaster.. There problem was gone!
I actually purchased one myself a couple of days ago and it is soo easy to use.

If you live in America you can purchase it from the official Kegelmaster website www.amazingkegelmaster.com for around $87.
If your from the UK then you can purchase it from Shytobuy.com from around £64.

In the top paragraph of the Wikipedia article it says how profoundly incontinence affects quality of life. You're not alone.

I'm assuming that you and your doctor have already run through all the tests in the Wikipedia article. If you haven't, you might discover a physical cause.

Have you tried putting additional pads into a pullup style diaper? I'm including a link to an incontinence supplies site, though I can't claim to know anything about the site. Also, have you tried asking your pharmacist?

I'm a big fan of Kegel exercises. There's a link below explaining how to do them.

This probably doesn't help, but imagine the old days before disposable diapers when you may not have been able to leave the house at all.

People may be looking at you, but I bet they're not laughing. They're much more absorbed in theirselves than you'd think--I bet they're not even thinking about your silhouette. If they do notice, perhaps it's because they have a relative in the same situation, since it's relatively common.

For your own peace of mind, can you dress in ways that make the diaper less noticeable? Maybe tie a sweater around your waist, or wear a long tunic top.

Speaking frankly, I'd be more concerned about smell than shape. Can you make sure that you take frequent bathroom breaks in case you need to change pads?

Are you secluding yourself because you're afraid of others? If you are, can you practice taking short trips to places you want to go, such as a movie theatre? When you feel more comfortable you can extend the trips.

I hope these ideas help, and that you'll enjoy getting out again.

are you sure it is not stress incontinence
Stress incontinence occurs during physical activity; urine leaks out of the body when the stomach muscles contract (for example, when sneezing, laughing, or even standing up from a seated position). Stress incontinence is most commonly caused when the urethra (the tube from the bladder to the outside of the body) is hypermobile because of problems with the muscles of the pelvis. A less common cause of stress incontinence is a muscle defect in the urethra known as intrinsic sphincter deficiency. The sphincter is a muscle that closes off the urethra and prevents urine from leaving the bladder and passing through the urethra to the outside of the body. If this muscle is damaged or deficient, urine can leak out of the bladder. Obviously, some people may have both.

Stress incontinence is the most common type of bladder control problem in younger and middle-aged women. In some cases, it is related to childbirth. It may also begin around the time of menopause. Stress incontinence affects 15-60% of women and can affect young and older people. It is especially common in young female athletes who have never given birth, and it occurs while they are participating in sports.

Walking, movement. It's the same as it is in people. When you first start out, it is very very painful. The more you move, the less pain and the more agile you/the horse becomes.

Devils Claw and Yucca are two plants that help to decrease inflamation and increase the mobility and cartalidge health of joints in horses. They work especially well when combined... you can actually find these preparred in powder form for horses at most supplement stores (Valley Vet, Country Supply, or Smart Paks all have websites you can find these at) and they are probably more inexpensive and more effecient than preparing it yourself... otherwise you may have to look online for these plants and the right amount to give your horse. Depending on the form you get the supplement in, you will want to make it into a palatable powder or pellet that you can feed.

Also, liniment can help to temporarily ease pain. You can make your own using pepermint oil, menthol, and a thick creamy lotion like bagbalm. Use this sparingly, and leave it on for only an hour or so, then rinse well- it can irritate their skin if left on too long.

While herbal remedies can help, the best horse cure for arthritis is a supplement that contains an anti-inflammatory, along with glucosamine and chrondroitin. These aren't "natural", but they are natural elemnts found in the body that decrease with agen or injury, and a supplement will replace what is lost, and sometimes even repair the damage that has already been done.

I love www.smartpak.com for supplements- each supplement is described and compared ingredient for ingredient on their charts. You can pick the one best for your horse easily, and the prices are reasonable, though you can shop around too.

We used a product containing glucosamine called Duraflex. Since horses need a specific amount of glucosamine, you would need to buy a product with this in it and made for a horse. This helps the joints to heal and supplies them with necessary ingredients.

Are you drinking too much water? That can be a problem... If you're drinking a lot before going into class or going to school you might be uncomfortable during class and have to go to the bathroom. Also, drinking drinks like soda can cause you to have to use the toilet more often than if you just drink water. If the problem consists and you aren't drinking enough or are drinking the right amount I would see a doctor. Talk to your parents or someone you trust about this, such as your school nurse or counselor. Hope this helps!

I'm not sure of your age. School either means you are a student or a teacher. If you have never had children you need to see a Dr. because there is probably a physical reason for your incontinence. If you have had children you probably have a prolapsed (falling) bladder causing your incontinence. There are 2 types of incontinence, stress and urge. Stress is like when you cough or laugh you leak. Urge is when your bladder is full and you leak. Both can be helped by keigle exercises. To do these you develop your pelvic floor (vaginal muscles). Pretend you are tightening up like you are stopping your peeing or holding back your peeing. Do these multiple times during the day. 10 sets of each, rest and repeat. Some women do these while sitting at stop lights. You can easily do these at your desk and no one will know. Do them at least every 2 hours thru the day. You may still need to see a urologist or a gynecologist for further intervention. Good luck.
