I get these small very painful blisters on my tongue sometimes....I do have auto immune disease but, still, I've had this one for three days. I've used the mouth sore deadener stuff in the tube, but, why do these happen? I have scleroderma and rheumatoid arthritis and a platelet disorder. Ouch!
Dermatologist testing for Lupus and Scleroderma ?

I have been referred to a dermatologist for test to see if I have scleroderma and to look at the rash I have across my cheeks and the hair loss I am having. I have had one positive ANA 18 years ago and have the hand curling and other issues with scleroderma and a dr. confirmed I had scleroderma by symptoms but said he thought I had a secondary autoimmune issue because of the rash. What can a dermatologist do to look for scleroderma and lupus ? I get them looking at my skin and hair but what test do they have to help determine I do have autoimmune issues ?
Does this sound like Lupus? Test results inside.?

I got my test results back today. I will be seeing my Dr. next week. All signs point to lupus or MCTD. I have felt lousy for ten years. Bad fatigue that is unrelieved by rest and aches/pains, as well as just feeling crummy in general. I also have Raynaud's that affects my toes as well as a sleep study that has documented sleep disturbances.
The ANA titer was 1:40, so not bad I believe.
The pattern was speckled.
It says ANA: POS
MY SED rate and my C Reactive Protein were high, as always, so that shows inflammation. There were some other markers that were high as well: Basophils and Eosinophils. I looked tem up and it looks like they have to do with immune issues/inflammation.
Can anyone help me interpret? I can't see this as anything but Lupus or MCTD. I don't have the hallmark symptoms of Scleroderma or Sjorgens. My Rhematoid Factor was normal.
With these results and a decade worth of symptoms.....
*Also BUN/Creatinine ratio was 23, so slightly elevated...know this has to do with kidney function 
My big toes hurts a lot, pain has been going on for 2weeks what is it?

There's serve pain on my big toe, on the one side it's like a little buble I poped it a few days ago it just grew back. Should I stop poping and see what happens? Also, a bit on the top and the side of my toe is numb. I have a waterproof bandage on it so when I take a showerr theres no water going into it. Also, I change the bandage a few times a day I keep it on for almost the whole day so bacteria doesn't get into it, but I do take the bandage off for a couple of hours so the blood circulates. ANYWAYS HELP IT HURTS A LOT!!! I DON'T HAVE ANY MEDICAL PROBLEMS.... And no it's NOT INGROWN TOE NAIL AND IT'S NO GOUT and it's not Scleroderma

I have been feeling pretty ill since April 2011 and some of my symptoms have been:
Bad Nausea-From April to mid July
Can't tolerate medications-Currently
Heat Intolerance-Currently
Gassy/Bloated-Currently
Appetite loss-From April to mid July and sometimes currently
Anxiety-Severe From February to mid July
Insomnia-2-3 times a week
Yellow stool for almost 2 months-April to mid July
Severe jaw and neck pain-Left side from April to beginning of July
Most currently I have had a tension headache for almost 2 weeks that lasts all day. When I try to sleep my right hip hurts, and it feels like my whole body is going numb, and I have to keep tossing and turning but no matter what position I lay I'm uncomfortable.
I have an elevated ANA that is 1:320 which also says Nucleolar Pattern that occurs in systemic sclerosis or in polymyositis/scleroderma overlap. I don't have any symptoms of these autoimmune diseases, but I do have some for fibromyalgia. They also say that the paperwork doesn't necessarily mean that is what you have. So any in put would be great.............
I was also diagnosed with a fatty liver via ultrasound.

Metabolic Panel-Normal
Liver and Kidney Functions-Normal
Hormone levels-Normal
Adrenals-Normal
Monospot-Normal
Pregnancy test-Negative
I have also had upper back pain for five years. I see a chiropractor which has helped alot, but I have never experienced a headache like this especially not for this long.

i do have asthma but my joints hurt when i get stressed or its cold or i use them alot . could i have scleroderma arthritis if i have asthma?
