What causes lower back pain in the morning?

I wake up every morning with lower back pain which usually goes away by mid day. Its been more then a week. I had this problem in the past, but it went away, now it's back. How do I know if its my mattress? My husband doesn't get any pain from sleeping in the mattress.
What should I do? I went to see a Chiropractor and all he did was to pop my back.

Depends on the type of pain. You may want to do some stretching every morning or exercises to strengthen the lower back…or the abs.
