10 Tips for a Long and Healthy Life

Living a long and a healthy life is the dream of every one. If you stop and ask any one on the street, they will tell you that they want to live longer. But, when it comes to living a long life, it is not as easy as it seems, as it requires constant hard work and effort on your part. This means that you have to work at it to get it right. However, there are a lot of things that you need to watch out for on your part. Of course, the classic rules apply which are to spend at least 30 minutes of exercise for three times a week and to lose weight by adopting a diet that focuses on fruits and vegetables. But unfortunately, just doing these is not enough, as you will have to go take the extra steps in order to live long. Here are 10 extra tips that will help you with your quest for a long life.
- Make sure that you try to eat organic foods as much as possible for a long and continued health.
- For all non-organic substances (fruits and vegetables) that you consume, make sure that you wash them very carefully and thoroughly to get rid of any chemical pesticides and bacteria that may be residing on their surface.
- DonGÇÖt use plastic ware while preparing your meals.
- Rely heavily on glass, ceramic and porcelain for your food ware.
- Try not to use tap water in your daily food preparation (including tea and coffee). If you have to use tap water, then make sure that you use a strong chlorine filter to filter out chlorine and any other harmful chemicals in it.
- Use limited chemical compounds when it comes to using them near your house, near your car and near your work.
- Use organic shampoos and soaps in your daily life. In addition, try to exclude synthetic materials from your life as much as possible.
- Always have your windows open to let fresh air inside. Your home and your working space should always be freshly aired.
- If you have plants in your house, pick the ones that use less sunlight for less carbon dioxide emission.
- Try to stay away from pollution and radiation for a longer life. Live in an area that has trees and less smog. Keep away from radiation sources such as cell towers, X ray machines and too many computers in one place.
