How do i clean my bed and pillow allergy covers?

I've done my homework on dustmite allergies but i still cant figure out how and when to clean my allergy covers. I bought some from walmart 2 months ago.

Moreover, Ii washed them like I wash clothing but they began to thin and rip. How do you clean them and can anyone recommend allergy covers?

What about an allergy proof mattress?

    You should be able to wash them like clothing without them falling apart.
    You should invest in a better one but it will cost more money but work better and last longer. For Example: http://www.allergysolution.com/
